About Arenacross

When did Arenacross start?

It started in the UK in 2013 with one event at The 02 Arena in London and 6,000 fans…. today, we sell out to over 500,000 fans in the UK’s leading city venues.

How do you build an Arenacross track?

It takes over 5,000 tons of dirt to build the track. The dirt must be of a certain top quality and at a precise temperature. We bring in well over 150 lorry loads of dirt! That’s a lot!

How long does it take to build and exit the arena?

It usually takes 48 hours to build and 24 hours to break-down an Arenacross track, but in exceptional circumstances, where we need to get out quickly, the crew has worked through the night and taken less than 12 hours to return the arena to its pristine condition, usually just in time for Strictly Come Dancing!

What will we see?

The UK’s most explosive and fun form of indoor motorsports entertainment. With youngsters from just 7 years old to experienced professionals, all competing on the same track.

Do I need to know about motocross to enjoy it?

No! You need to know about having fun. An Arenacross night is like no other – it’s fast-paced and action-packed. Just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Where can I see Arenacross?

The Arenacross World Tour consists of eight rounds held at seven venues. It kicks off in January at the West Midlands BP Pulse Arena in Birmingham’s NEC, then moves to the OVO Arena Wembley in London. The tour continues with a double-header at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Friday and Saturday nights. Next, it travels north to the P&J Live Arena in Aberdeen, Scotland, followed by the AO Arena in Manchester. For the first time, the tour will leave the UK for an international date, which will be confirmed soon. The grand finale will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE!

Please note that times may change at some venues, so please check first.

Is each round the same?

The Show’s format is similar, but as it’s a live event packed with plenty of action, riders who will stop at nothing to win … every round is different. You can attend more than one!

What time shall I arrive at the venue?

The eight-round, seven-venue Arenacross World Tour takes place on Saturday nights, except for one Friday night in Belfast. VIP ticket holders can arrive earlier to enjoy food and drink, with general admission doors opening around 5pm depending on the venue. The show start times are 6.30 pm/7 pm depending on your day and venue.

Please note that times may change at some venues, so please check first.

What can I do once I enter the Arena before the event starts?

Meet the riders and grab an autograph in the foyer (usually between 5.30 and 6.00 pm). Stock up on food, drink and merchandise and enjoy the overall convivial atmosphere of the event before finding your seats.

Tickets

How can I purchase tickets?

Events are listed here – www.axworldtour.com/venues/. You can locate a show in your area and purchase tickets ticketek.co.uk or through the individual venue box offices.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my infant child, who will sit on my lap for the entire show?

In most arenas, children under two are admitted free, provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. Children aged two and over will require a ticket for all events. Check the ticketing page for the venue of your choice. Arenacross is loud throughout, so please bear this in mind when bringing little ones – maybe bring some headphones just in case!

Is it a ‘per seat’ price rather than Child and Adult?

One seat fits all! The experience for a child will be as great as an adult’s. If not, it’s better!

Can a family ticket be purchased for 4 Adults?

No, this ticket is for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 and this will be checked on the door.

What can we expect if I book a VIP ticket?

Two VIP packages are available – Track Walk Meet & Greet, VIP Hospitality Experience. They all provide early access to the Arena, with an exclusive Track Walk, meet and greet session with riders and a private FMX show. For more details: VIP experience

I have already bought my ticket but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

We’re sorry, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for tickets unless the event is cancelled due to any circumstance in which the promoter/the Venue are covered by its relevant insurance coverage. Please refer to the Ticket company and see if they have a re-sale policy.

Can I buy tickets from third-party sellers?

We urge our fans to purchase tickets directly from our website, venue ticketing pages, and venue box offices. Some unauthorised resellers may advertise on a search engine to be seen on the internet before us.

Show Information

Will I appear in an Arenacross video edit or photo?

You may be one of the lucky ones photographed or filmed by one of our team members during the evening. If you look like you are having fun, which you will be, then you may appear on our own social media or adverts. By entering the Arenacross event site, you agree to be filmed or photographed, which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.

Should I wear ear protection?

Our merchandise stand sells Arenacross ear protection and disposable ear plugs, but stocks may run low, so we advise you to bring your own if you have sensitive ears or have little people with you.

Will there be any use of Pyrotechnics during the events?

It’s possible, very, very possible!! Some of our Arena shows can use Pyrotechnics before, during and after the show.

Can I leave the arena and come back in?

Most Arenas do not allow re-entry without purchasing another event ticket. Once you are in, you are in for a great time, you won’t want to leave. However, if you need to exit and return, please speak to the venue staff to arrange to re-enter.

Which personal items/types of bags are allowed into the arena?

Please contact your local arena’s Customer Relations team regarding their policies. Our shows follow their guidelines regarding items allowed into the venue. Review their policies online or ask them about the items in question.

What are the policies about camera use?

Still, cameras are permitted at Arenacross events, provided they are non-professional cameras (lenses shorter than six inches) and the photos are intended for personal use only.

No video cameras of any kind are allowed in the venue. Camera policies vary from venue to venue. If you have concerns, please contact the specific venue in your area to verify the policy details.

We want you to soak up the atmosphere with your friends and family.
